Electrostatic film

Electrostatic film is a kind of non coated film, mainly made of PE and PVC. It adheres to the articles for protection by electrostatic adsorption of the product itself. It is generally used on the surface sensitive to adhesive or glue residue, and is mainly used for glass, lens, high gloss plastic surface, acrylic and other non smooth surfaces.

Electrostatic film can’t feel static outside, it is self-adhesive film, low adhesion, enough for bright surface, generally 3-wire, 5-wire, 8-wire. The color is transparent.

Principle of electrostatic adsorption

When an object with static electricity is close to another object without static electricity, due to electrostatic induction, one side of the object without static electricity will gather charges with opposite polarity (the other side produces the same amount of homopolar charges) which are opposite to the charges carried by the charged objects. Due to the attraction of opposite charges, the phenomenon of “electrostatic adsorption” will appear.

Can be printed by UV ink, fit for glass covering, easy to be removed without residual, also can be used to protect different smooth surfaces such as iron, glass, plastic from being scratched.
